Last week my world history class visited three different types of churchs. Those three churhes were Catholic, Islamic, and Jewish. I acutully had a great experience throughout the feild trip. The first church we visited that we visited that had the biggest impression was the Islamic church. Islamic practices are totally different from the catholic practices which are the practices that im used to. Eventhough i felt like there practices were unique from catholics, they are still something that i would want to be apart of. But overall its an honorable religon. The second church we visited was the jewish church. I was some what amazed by it's practices becaue they were somewhat similar to the catholic pratices. Now, thats just my opinion anyway. And the third and final church was the catholic. Im already famiilar with those practices so therefore it was just another walk in the park for me.
my thoughts about the buildings of these churches were just a little refreshing to me becauce they were all very familiar to me except the jewish building. That building was very pretty to me. I've never seen a church made of so fabulously. I would have to give that a thumbs up. but all of the buldings were very nice.
The symbolism of each building were alot like i looked them up .I thought there might be some differences from the actual symbolism then the ones i looked up. so i guess that was a good thing. My most favorite was the juwish symbol. I think that symbol is neat but more eye catching then anything.
the teaching of each religion were very acknowlegeable . i learned quite a bit from each religon. But what i acknowledeged the most was the fasting which is a ritual for both the jewish and islamic religion. That was actuall something that i couldnt understand until i was informed a little better about it. It seems like a very important ritual so i guess thats why the teaching was became the most acknowledged.
The guest speakers were very good at teaching there religions. My first impression of each one was more like an honorable impression. I had the upmost respect for each speaker because iknew that they value and honor thier relgions so i felt like it was neccessary for me to honor them as representives.
Overall i learned alot from my visits of all three churches. There were some questions that i wanted to ask but they were all answred within the presentation. so, i didnt get a chance to ask any questions. But i did think that some of the questions my class mates asked were very good. so i learned a little more then what i intended.

I'm am glad that you enjoyed this experience and learned a great deal in the process. Great details in this post. I agree that the synagogue is very beautiful.
Quite a few small errors that I can help you fix for maximum points. Missing your pretty picture? As is 42/50 points.
